Leading with Purpose: My Experience at the Black MBA Association Women’s Symposium
On August 24, 2024, I had the incredible honor of participating in the Black MBA Association Women’s Symposium—a gathering dedicated to empowering women professionals and entrepreneurs. The event was a testament to the power of community, collaboration, and growth, providing a space for women to share their journeys, exchange insights, and uplift one another.
The symposium was filled with dynamic discussions and actionable strategies for navigating the challenges and opportunities women face in business and leadership. It was inspiring to see so many accomplished and aspiring leaders come together to celebrate their unique perspectives and drive change in their industries and communities.
During the event, I shared insights on self-awareness, resilience, and how women can leverage their strengths to create lasting impact in their personal and professional lives. One of the most rewarding moments was connecting with women who were eager to embrace new tools for growth and transformation. The energy in the room was electric—every conversation felt like a spark of inspiration waiting to ignite new ideas and initiatives.
What stood out most to me was the collective determination to not only succeed individually but to also uplift and support one another. This was a gathering of women who understood the importance of legacy—of leaving the door open for those who come after us.
Events like the Black MBA Association Women’s Symposium are vital because they remind us of the power we hold when we come together. They create spaces where we can learn, share, and grow in ways that amplify our collective voice and influence.
I left the symposium not only inspired but deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful event. Together, we are building a brighter, more inclusive future—one connection, one conversation, and one breakthrough at a time.
